Whyte & Co Accessibility Statement
We have designed this website to be easy to use. By following guidelines set down by the W3C we are trying to make sure that all the information on our
website is available to everybody: not just the text, but the information contained in the images and other media. This means that:
- The website uses HTML to provide document structure and CSS (Cascading Stylesheets) to provide presentational formatting. Using these technologies also allows us to provide a website that loads quickly, and is usable on many devices, including screen readers.
- Content on the website is written in plain language and avoids jargon. Where technical terms or industry-specific terms need to be used, they will be defined.
- We've designed the website to have strong colour contrasts to make it easier to read. For example, black text on a white background. You can use your browser's settings to change the colours, text size and font.
- You can use your browser's settings to zoom in and make the website content larger. The website has been designed to support zooming in while maintaining a readable layout of the content.
- It should be possible to naviagate most of the website with a keyboard.
- It should be possible to listen to most of the website using a screen reader.
- The website makes minimal use of JavaScript. If you have JavaScript turned off in your browser settings then most of the website will still work.
